SMP for Alopecia

Alopecia is when cells in your immune system surround and attack the hair follicles, resulting in hair loss. The most common type of alopecia is alopecia areata. This is where the hair falls out in small patches. The patched areas sometimes grow back and patches reappear elsewhere on the scalp or the patches can connect creating bigger balding areas. This could result in a form of alopecia called alopecia universalis where all hair is lost.

SMP can be the perfect solution for alopecia. With areata SMP can fill in the patches so they’re not as obvious. This will look its best with a shaved head as it will camouflage better. If the patches are moving or joining then it is most probably best to get the whole head treated to make sure you get the most natural look possible.
